This naturally cultured sourdough gluten-free bread is light in flavor and moist inside, with an artisan-style crust. It's great for sandwiches or as toast. We only use certified or tested gluten-free flours in our baking facilities. simplekneads Simple Kneads was started by Tristaun LeClaire, a natural foods expert whose young son developed an allergic reaction to gluten. Frustrated by the lack of satisfying gluten-free breads on the market, Tristaun began experimenting with wholesome ingredients to create his own recipe. His breads were so enthusiastically received by everyone who tried them that he was encouraged to share them with the world. Each loaf is hand-crafted using whole food ingredients that are gathered close to the source. And because the recipes are gluten-free, everyone can enjoy the pleasure of breaking bread together - wholesome, robust, artisan bread. Although we've outgrown the one oven in Tristaun's home kitchen, we still maintain the hands-on, personal craftsmanship that was nurtured there.
