Tego was founded in 1989 and has developed from a small manufacturer into a reliable partner in retail-centered design. Tego’s insight into suspended ceilings as the basis of a flexible interior comes from industry. One of Tego’s customers found it difficult to change its production in line with their needs, expansion and changes. Since the wires were in the floor, the concrete had to be raised when the machines and lamps had to be moved. The solution was above.

Tego developed a simple suspended ceiling solution where wires and more were placed in the ceiling. This made it possible to flexibly change the position of the machines and lighting in step with changes. With this, Tego’s increased understanding of the ceiling’s commercial power and the ability to easily change, strengthen and improve shopping experiences. Today, Tego has delivered over 10,000 projects. Especially to customers in the retail trade.

Nowadays, we have full focus on conveying the knowledge we have gathered to our customers so that they can make the right choice based on their needs and conditions. We who work at Tego have a strong conviction that the physical store will continue to be important. But to stand out in the competition requires conscious reflection and the ability to offer the customer experiences and changing environments.

Since the beginning, Tego has had its seat and production in Sweden. (We’ve been “dumb” long enough to be “smart” again).
We buy Swedish steel with a high recycling factor and prioritize sourcing from Europe and our surrounding local area.
