Golden wings
Hansa’s new concept returns to the shape of the Hansa building. From the ceiling fold golden butterfly wings. Together, all well-balanced details create an aesthetically pleasing roof that really stands out from the crowd.

The ceilings consist of perforated white sheet metal, the holes punched out in the ceiling have a shape that mimics the shape of the Hansa department store’s block from above – a rectangle with an uneven angle. And in the punched out holes, golden wings unfold.
The wings are designed so that they give the feeling of folding down from the ceiling, and also fulfill a function. The golden wings accentuate the ceiling and give it a magical feel. Above the ceiling is LED lighting that gives extra effect to the metallic wings that sparkle in the light.
Since LED luminaires are placed above the groups of gold wings, the visitor gets the feeling that each group is perceived as a general light luminaire. In the stairwell that connects the floors, the gold wings are intensified by increasing in number. The central room’s ceiling with gold wings is illuminated from below, to create a feeling over the escalators.
